A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a historical novel about friendship, relationships, and racism. The narrator told the readers about his life and journey. His admission to the university to study medicine, as well as his political life and affairs during his university days, faced numerous difficulties, including being arrested by the police and sleeping in prison for months while doing hard labor. Will he be able to overcome his current situation? Get a copy of this book to find out.

This memoir talks about the vital role Dr. Ghoulem Berrah played in the decolonization of Algeria and the role he played as a political activist while he was a medical student at the University of France. During his school days, he was a very bright student and took his political energy seriously to gain his motherland's independence. His mother played an important role in his life and made sure her son had a standard education.

What I love about this book is how detailed the storyline is, and it's not hard for the readers to comprehend. I love how the narrator and his political group stood to their feet and summoned the courage to save their country, which was colonized by France. Their courage is something to be proud of, and if we had people like Dr. Ghoulem Berrah in every part of the world, the world would have been a better place. I love how he got support from his friends, and they even went as far as accommodating him to stay in their house when he was on the run from the police. Despite sleeping in prison and going through hard labor, he didn’t give up, and that’s amazing. I'm impressed by his personality; he's always helping people out in one way or another, and that’s quite tremendous work.

What I don’t like about this book is that the pictures I came across are somehow blurred, and I can’t figure out what’s in the diagram or the message the writer is passing across. I feel like the author should have done better and tried to make this picture clearer. I didn't notice any errors in this book; it's exceptionally well-edited. I didn’t find it hard to read this novel at all, and I moved with the flow as I read through each page.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because the author did a great job. The way I came to know more about the history of Africa impressed me, and I can say this book is educational. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah did a significant job, and his role and impact in various areas will never be forgotten. If you love to read novels about historical fiction, I’ll recommend this book to you. It talks a lot about the history of Africa, and you’ll learn more. Also, if you like to read books about political activities, friendship, and racism, you can pick this book up.

Dr. Ghoulem was a strong man. He sacrificed a lot for his nation. What I liked about this book was that he achieved freedom for his country. Which was his heart's desire.

The role played by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah as a political activist while he was a medical student at the University of France made him to be versatile, and of course I liked that.

When a man means to seek freedom, he does it with his whole heart, and Dr. Berrah is one of those people who did what needed to be done to get that freedom.

I appreciate that you took the time to mention the author's word choice. It's rare to find a book that is straightforward and easy to read while still being enjoyable, so it's refreshing to hear that this one is.
