Who Told You That You Were Naked? by William E Combs is a refreshing book based on Biblical knowledge that seeks to answer some of the mysteries of creation tale with the author giving an account on how he first had an encounter with light as a child which inspired him to write the book when he became much older.

In the first chapter, Adam and Eve suddenly realize that they are naked in the garden of Eden after eating the forbidden fruit and with that another set of knowledge is born; the knowledge of good and evil. It is with this concept that the author examines the repercussions of that knowledge relating it to our present-day life and how the same tragedy was salvaged through Jesus Christ.

The author has an interesting revelation of the concept of sin carefully linking it to the Bible through the Old and New Testaments for the readers to better understand the text and how to overcome it through faith. He explains how the fall of man in Eden led to relational and spiritual deaths. He goes further to give ways of reconnecting back with God, ways of understanding Him and ourselves.

I find the book interesting and is a good eye opener to some who have studied the Bible but have not seen it the way he does. Personally, the book changed the way I viewed sin and I learnt that I should not rely on my strength to fight my weaknesses but in every way trust in Jesus' completed work. The book has a powerful message and I believe it will minister to all who read it.

The grammar was almost flawless plus it's not a boring read. With little known of the creation story, the author has a sense of humor and I like his creativity on what could have actually transpired in the garden though strict religious Christians will not appreciate this.

The highlights in the book added some weight on the author's contents and his experiences to back up his work was reliable. He also provides Biblical verses which aided in time management. Well, while it's good book in every way I mostly found myself spending more time with the book to see if the author's content was valid. I love the fact that the book can be read by anyone but I will recommend it to those those who are seeking to grow spiritually or those who are hiding in the closets with pains that demand answers.

I rate this book, 4 out of 4 stars because the author delivered his work professionally and the level of his work was outstanding.

I also enjoyed reading this book and even reviewed it too. I was able to understand some Bible verses and I never lost focus. Thanks for your excellent review.
