The image has a futuristic look that points to the sci-fi genre. As someone who occasionally reads sci-fi but prefers other genres, I would most likely pass on reading this book if I saw the cover and knew nothing else about the book.

Instead, it gives off more of a self-published, early 2000s vibe, and not in a nostalgic way. I found myself more interested in the title than the design, which is a missed opportunity.
