The young adult science fiction/fantasy book Opaque by Calix Leigh-Reign tells the tale of 16-year-old Adam Caspian, who discovers his true identity and the unnatural abilities he possesses, and Carly Wit, who helps him adapt to the new world and its struggles. Opaque tells the narrative of Adam's growth and change as he discovers his true identity and place in the world. The story is all about courage, hard work, and surviving adversity. Adam finds out that he is actually adopted by his family and that he and Carly are descended from two of the seven extinct Russian bloodlines that transmitted their special abilities to future generations. The Iksha, on the other hand, is a group of evil scientists who pose a threat to the survival of people of these generations, creating fear and forcing them to hide. Will Adam and Carly be able to survive and defeat the Iksha?

Opaque by Calix Leigh-Reign is a cool novel. I've never read anything or any story like this. It was just amazing. The story was well organized, starting with the simple teenage life of Adam and then suddenly taking a twist with all the new abilities and powers. In fact, it was unexpected and overwhelming at the same time. It was a new experience for me to read this book, and I have to say I loved it. I also think there should be a movie with this story because it reflects that kind of superhero life. The author did a great job writing and editing such an amazing novel. I think the book was professionally edited too.

I found no errors or typos in the book, and there are also no negative points to make about it. I just liked the book overall, and I am going to give it a rating of 5 out of 5. It is a well-deserved rating because the book has this kind of attachment with the readers, and I couldn’t stop reading because of the interesting storyline.

I absolutely recommend Opaque to adult readers and those who love science fiction novels. It’s a great read if you are looking for adventurous and fun novels. I think you will love it, and I can't wait to see what you guys think about it in your own reviews. I am also excited to read the next book in the series because the story continues there. I hope you enjoy it too.

I don’t have the same powers as Adam and Carly, obviously, but do know what being different is like. The novel takes this to an extreme. Thanks!

Thanks for the comment! The experience of being different is something most of us can relate to, and this novel explores this concept- showcasing how it feels to stand out. Thanks again for reading the review!
