Nick Parker is the kind of character who will risk his life to save teenage girls from a human-trafficking ring. He must go up against rich, powerful people who have the resources to ruin his life. He is a brave man, indeed. James Meenagh's writing style will keep you riveted to the story.

After much success in a field, you tend to be associated with that field even after quitting. The MC here has a similar case as death never seems to leave his side. Congratulations on the BOTD, and best wishes for future projects.

You caught my attention by saying: "Suspense to the end, made me laugh a few times, and made me cry." An author who can evoke such emotions in the reader is a talented writer. I love the CTMH genre, and your review has prompted me to add this book to my to-read list. Thank you for your review.

Your insights into Nick Parker and the narrative's suspenseful nature make it clear why you found it hard to put down. It seems like a book that keeps readers engaged with its blend of action, humor, and emotional depth.

"Death's Companion" by James Meenagh is a riveting crime thriller that will keep you on the edge of your seat. With its dynamic characters, whirlwind pace, and suspenseful plot, this book is a must-read for fans of action-packed crime novels. Despite some graphic content, the story is masterfully written, making it a well-deserved 4 out of 4 stars.

Just reading the review already shows that this novel is really a spine chilling one indeed.

Can't wait to see how Reggae and Parker succeed in their plans of putting a stop to the human trafficking and other plots.

If I was inclined to I would read this book based on the review alone but I'm bit leery due to the amount of violence it is puported to contain.

Definitely not my cup of tea, because while on some level, as a sane person, I understand the need of an assassin for a government, it doesn't mean I approve or have any desire to read a book about man of that profession. Sorry and congrats with BOTD, anyway!

This is a very enticing review. I love action-packed thrillers and am no stranger to graphic content, after all life is not censored. I look forward to reading the rest of the book and the series.

Nick and Reggie seems to have a big role to play in this book. The circle responsible for abducting young girls are the central focus and I can't wait to read this.

Another important character in the story is Nick's one-hundred-pound German shepherd companion named Coop, who had wandered up to his cabin one day and decided to stay. The strange thing about Coop is he never barks—but he never needs to. You will discover why as you read the book.
- That's quite unusual- A dog that doesn't bark, when that's exactly what dogs do, namely bark and scare off the intruder. I'm also Intrigued to know why it doesn't need to bark. A well-written review, thank you.

I love crime thrillers, so I'll definitely be keeping an eye out for this book. Nick sounds like a strong protagonist, although I wonder if he'll be able to take down the bad guys all alone, seeing how influential they are. I wonder why Coop doesn't bark.
