The Requium Report by Alison Demzon follows a PI, Stefanie “Stefi”, her old friends and new friends that she meets along the way. She is hired by a businessman named Georgoryan to locate a missing scientist. Stefi, using her vast knowledge, used to work for the police department, she locates the scientist, Matt. Everything seems to be going smoothly, until during the meetup someone takes a shot at them. That starts the adventure that takes her team around the world as they attempt to stop a terrorist group from destroying everything and everyone they love.
The book is written chronologically and is easy to read. As you read the book, you may wish for more details on some items/issues, but you just need to remember that this is supposed to be a report. Stefi does not like writing reports, so she writes hers as a story. So, the book is concise and from her memory. It is fun to read the conversations between Stefi and her group of adventurers.
This book is a good read for lovers of science fiction and mystery books. The book does seem to have a lot of errors, miss-spellings, places and names, but as the book progresses you realize not all the errors are errors. I know that sounds a little confusing but read the book and it will make all kinds of sense.
I rate this book 4 out of 5. The book is very well written and keeps the reader interested in the story.
This book does mention the LBGT and transgender lifestyle.
It does not harp on the lifestyle; it is just part of how the characters live and interact with the world.
It also mentions religious fanatics. Those people who use the passages from the bible for what they truly believe.
This is the main part of the book, so be prepared for bible passages and some of the characters talking about God a lot.
