This is a story by Randy Miller about the Vietnam naval war. The author starts by describing the preparations for the war, the events that occurred during the war, and its aftermath. It is a story based on factual information mixed with some drama. It’s a story about love, friendship, the challenges of war, and the aftermath of war. It explains how the Veteran Affairs Department of the United States denied the Bluewater sailors compensation for illnesses resulting from exposure to Agent Orange. It shows how the veterans of the Vietnam War got left to deal with their problems on their own after dedicating their blood and sweat to fighting for their country.

I love that the author took factual events, and made them into an exciting, emotion-evoking fiction. The characters are lovable, and their dialogue makes the story entertaining. The author describes all events in detail, making the reader feel like they are a part of what is happening. I also love how the story can capture the reader’s emotions. Some parts of the story make you happy, and others make you feel bad for the characters. For instance, when veterans get denied compensation for their illnesses caused by Agent Orange exposure, The whole situation makes you sad and angry at the same time. Lastly, I liked the authenticity of the story. The writer mixed factual information with fiction to create the most incredible story.

I loved everything about this book. By reading this story, I also learned new things about the naval war. This story is both entertaining and educational.

I rate this book 5 out of 5. Everything about this book is incredible. The characters are interesting and loveable, the story is accurate, and the editing is flawless.

I recommend this book to anyone who loves good historical fiction. The author’s detailed writing makes it easy to understand and follow. The story is exciting and takes you on an emotional rollercoaster. If you are a fan of history, you will love this book.

There was so much to read in this book. Zack's story was interesting as he went through life as a Navy officer. However, I was incensed by the government's refusal to help him and other veterans who were affected by the Agent Orange.
