“Play Golf Better Faster: From Weekend Golfer to Pro Golfer in Two Years” by Kalliope Barlis is a book to guide a person in the field of golf and improve their skills. It’s a book with detailed lessons, so that a person can learn about golf anytime, anywhere.

Kalliope Barlis wrote everything in such a way that, the more you read, the better you understand and absorb the information. The book is mainly divided into three parts - 1. “Using your brain” where she emphasizes that golf is a game of peace and stillness, which are some of the tools employed in meditation practices, 2. “Practicing your game” she talked about the importance of maintaining balance or even having excellent posture as a golfer, 3. “Playing your game”. Each part describes that field in detail.

I like how the book offers insightful advice in a straightforward way that everyone can grasp, even if they have no prior golfing experience. It provides us with some amazing exercise tips to help with games. It also focuses on how better equipment does not mean better performance and draws our attention towards the fact that improvement is achieved based on how you practice, not on how many times you practice.

It even provides us with some diagrammatic representations for better understanding. I like how the author provides us with so much knowledge with such clarity. I also like the short quotations the author used to introduce each chapter or topic.

The book is edited incredibly as I could not find even a single mistake and, I highly appreciate the writing skills of the author. Therefore, I would like to rate this book a 5 out of 5.

I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their skills in golf or wants to learn about it.
