The Way of the Goddess: Daily Rituals to Awaken Your Inner Warrior and Discover Your True Self by Ananta Ripa Ajmera is a spiritual guide to finding the purpose and freedom that lives inside us all. It is an informative book that teaches readers about the Hindu Goddess Durga and her nine avatars. The book goes on to explain how the different goddesses are connected to each of the nine chakras. Other teachings include cultivating creativity, transformation, love, expression, intuition, transcendence, rejuvenation, and intentionality. Each lesson is accompanied by practical activities that help readers to better understand their own spiritual strength.

I love the appearance of this book. The book is vibrant and colorful. This captivated my attention from the very beginning. It provides clear pictures of the goddesses. It also outlines the chakra in which each of them resides. Another thing that I like about this book is the inclusion of meaningful quotes. Above all, I love the activities included. The chapters include activities that are directly related to the lesson. These activities allowed me to slowly ease into my journey of self-discovery.

There is nothing that I dislike about this book. Grounded in the Vedic spiritual traditions of Ayurveda, Yoga, and Vedanta, it offers us the opportunity to understand ourselves and to find a path to true happiness. The plot of the book is clear. Even without knowledge of Hindu doctrine, I had no issue understanding the text.

This book is absolutely amazing. I rate it 5 out of 5. It is well-edited with no grammatical errors. It teaches so much about chakras, creativity, and purpose.

The concept of this book is rooted in Hinduism teachings. The information provided is properly explained. This makes it suitable for some religious persons. However, persons deeply rooted in Christian and Jewish faith may not enjoy it. Finding the purpose of life is something sought after by so many people. I recommend this book to everyone who is in search of their purpose. This book is filled with activities to help readers discover themselves. It would also make an excellent guide for persons embarking on their spiritual journey.
