Niching Up by Chris Dreyer is a nontraditional book in that the author reflects on his own experience in the business journey. The author kept going into circles about the concept of niching and how it helped achieve his position in the digital world.
The book is interesting as it introduces useful tips for beginners as well as explains some terminology and unfamiliar terms for persons who want to get into digital marketing.
The author is trying to simplify his experience interestingly but some of the analogies used are a bit confusing and unrelated somehow.
The language was really easy and plain for anyone to comprehend which gave the book a touch of simplicity and friendliness. The book is very engaging and covers some hidden facts about niching and how it is not for everyone. Niching should be combined with knowledge about the business and the customers. The part that I enjoyed the most was that the author was directing the reader to understand their goals about how their business looks like. As well as, how to understand the customer mentality and at the same time how to build a fruitful relationship with the customers.
I will rate it four out of five as for me I felt like it is one of those YouTube videos that tries to let you into the digital world but with more depth into it. There was a bit of redundancy and some parts were boring. I recommend reading the book if you are into digital business as it gives reasons for niching and how to achieve monetary income from it.

Niching is a very helpful business concept that I wish that I would have known about when I began my business. Unbeknownst to me I have a niche product and I thought that people just didn’t like it.
