Review : Snatched Up To Heaven For Kids
The highly vibrant, aesthetic color combination and perfect pictorial representation make the story text more appealing and engaging. The fundamental concept of God, Jesus, and Christianity is precisely described by the well-crafted story of six years old Emma, her little sister Bella, and her well-coming parents. Parents focus to impart the knowledge of God and the basic concept of heaven in terms of Christianity which is clearly stated in the Bible. The story explains the concept of heaven and hell to kids through the dream of a little girl which is explained by her parents in the light of verses of the Bible.
That little Emma one night dreams that angels and Jesus in white outfits lead her to heaven along with her little sister where she sees the pleasant world. In heaven she sees God, Jesus, angels, queen, and the people loved by them. Later on, she keep dreaming every night. One night she sees gardens of sweet fruits, a variety of flowers, and wild animals who are altogether without any fight. She enjoys the delicious food and has fun there. In heaven, she doesn't experience any physical pain, all people are young and healthy. Undoubtedly, through Emma's dream of heaven, kids can clearly understand the bestows of heaven that is provided to people who obey God and truly believe in the existence of Jesus as a true savior. This story is not only confined to the dream of heaven but also shows the other side, hell. In hell, Emma sees people in very worse conditions, in a very burning environment, who did wrong and never believed in the existence of God and Jesus. This story has an amazing conversation between Emma and her parents. Both Emma and Bella ask the question that could be arisen in every kid. Usually, parents don't believe when children tell them about such kinds of dreams but Emma's parents are true parents who listen, console and give her clear answers to her question. They regularly teach their girls to love God and Jesus and believe that salvation is found only with Them. This story is true preaching for spreading good to achieve heaven and telling people to not choose the wrong path or disbelieve the existence of God, Jesus, and the reality of heaven and hell. The door of repentance and forgiveness is always open for sinners .So, it is best to move toward God's love anytime. Snatched up to Heaven is an ideal read for kids to know about the fundamentals of Christianity and the world hereafter.
Due to awareness and preaching of religion to kids, this story is rated 3 out of 4. It is hugely recommended to read to learn about the concept of heaven and hell as well as rewards and punishments. As far as formatting and graphics are concerned, it is rated 4/5 due to the lack of content page and the selction of color scheme at page 5 and 6 that makes reading difficult.
