It is said that there is a life before one’s present life and life after life; after all, a cat is said to have seven lives, and a human is said to have more depending on how they lived their past one. The Girl Who Knew Da Vinci by Belle Ami explored not just the present lives of the characters but how things happened in their past lives.

Angela, who is an expert on the Italian Renaissance and works as an intern at the Getty Museum, is being harassed by the director of the museum, Dr. Alberto Scordato. While working at the museum, Angela began having dreams about Leonardo Da Vinci, an artist. Her dreams are filled with visions of a lost painting created by Da Vinci. Alexander, an art detective, gets hired to investigate the missing paintings. Angela and Alexander set out to find them.

I liked how vividly descriptive the author was of people, places, and events in a way that, as I read the book, I got a clear picture of whatever was taking place. I also liked the suspense in the book because it was just the right amount. I also enjoyed how their love was so natural. I liked how the book was not just based on one character’s perspective.

I did not encounter any errors while reading this book; therefore, I did say the book was well-edited, and with that, I give the author a thumbs up for a job well done. I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars because I didn't dislike any part, and as such, I enjoyed every aspect of the book, including their love story and how it was a result of their soul connection.

I recommend this book to all adult readers who enjoy reading not just historical fiction but also romantic suspense novels because there were quite a few graphic sexual moments between the characters. For those who want to study more about reincarnation, this is the perfect book for them.
