Clifford's War: Without End by J. Denison Reed is a page-turner that captures the meaning of courage and friendship.

Clifford and his team are hired contractors for the government as private investigators. A senator is murdered by an assassin during an investigation under Daniel and Sara's surveillance, while Bailey's music piracy case for J-Rocks Studios uncovers mysterious files of weapons about to be smuggled. It all leads Clifford and his team to investigate a deep secret that must be brought to light. Weapon smuggling gangs, assassin gangs, rogue agents, and danger lurk around every corner, and their lives are at stake. Who is on the hit list? Who are the assassins? Who do they trust?

This book had a lot of positive aspects; it was enthralling and energetic, which I admire a lot, and the characters fascinated me. These characters are Bailey, the disabled tech genius who showed me there is always an advantage and never to give up; Sara, the only female in the team, who is daring, caring, and courageous; Daniel, the young man who changed his ways and is undergoing training; and Clifford, the leader of this team, who is brave and smart. They reveal that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

The only negative aspect of this book was the lack of mystery. I feel like if there had been more mystery in the book, it would have been a great book.

I found this book to be well edited, and the grammatical issues I came across could be intentional, as could the sarcasm portrayed by the characters. I dislike anything in this book, although it lacks mystery. I rate it four out of five stars based on the aforementioned positive and negative aspects.

Finally, I recommend this book to readers who are interested in detective stories, action, and mystery books.
