No matter what anyone went through while growing up, be it abject poverty, starvation, or severe malnutrition, it doesn't give anyone the right to lay claim to life. The challenging moments one goes through do not give anyone the freedom to waste human life as they wish. But why are terrorists so wicked? Why do they do the things they do?

Uri Levon and Lara Edmond are two special agents known to be the best in their respective fields. They are once again called upon to help neutralize an impending threat to the United States of America from a terrorist group, Hezbollah.

East Wind, 2nd Edition, is a 261-page fictional novel with 41 chapters by Jack Winnick. The author is renowned for his unique writing style and how his novels get readers addicted and glued to each book page. It could only make one wonder how to think up such a story. I liked many things about this book, from the educational parts to the richness of the story. Not many people know of the United States' unique relationship with Israel. These two countries have helped each other drastically and are known for their special bond. It's almost like their brothers; if you touch Israel, you have an issue with the US, and vice versa. Now the terrorists knew of this special bond and sought to think up a plan to sever that bond to create problems between the two countries, as there is a limit to everything and a line that cannot be crossed. They achieved this by framing Israel for a bomb blast that was launched by Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah-led terrorists on the famous city of Los Angeles, which then led to the United States deciding to withdraw its regular support for the people of Israel.

Another thing I liked about the book was the precise manner in which the story was told. There was no beating around the bush. It was very straightforward, and I liked how the novel was not long, knowing the book is part of a series.

Honestly, I did not dislike anything about this book. It was filled with all my favorite things that I wanted in a book like this. The action, drama, and strategies were all top-notch. I rate this book five out of five stars because I enjoyed it. I did not find any errors, which means it was exceptionally well-edited. Furthermore, I recommend this book to lovers of crime and thriller novels.

I agree with what is said in your review, as we have no right to claim another person's life despite their background or the kind of situation we found ourselves in. And I loved Uri and Lara's cooperation in ending terrorist threats.

Terrorists usually come up with absurd reasons or justifications for taking the life of others. I am glad the first part of your review includes that. I'm looking forward to reading East Wind.

East Wind covers some terrorist activities. It’s the first book in the Jack Winnick series. This novel will open a lot of people’s eye concerning the cause of terrorism.

Uri and Lara, the formidable team. Terrorists have no reason to kill at all. It's surprising how one thinks he has the right to take what he didn't give. Great review.

It one to know a country's bound with another but why try to harm the peace what does one gain from that. I do agree with the reviewer the cruelty that life give you doesn't give you the right to inflict same on others.

The reason why I like the Lara and Uri series so much is that it has a storyline that features crime and action which I'ma great fan of. I believe this book would be no different. I would definitely get a copy of the book. Nice review.

Thanks to Jack Winnick's books, I have gotten a better perspective about the dynamics of the endless feud between Israel and its neighbors. I'm just admit that he has carved a niche for himself.

This is an enlightening book and the reviewer gave a very detailed review. People shouldn't use their hurtful past experiences to justify the bad actions and treatment they are meting out to people.

Knowing a country's ties to another is interesting, but what does it serve to try to disturb the peace? I do concur with the reviewer that you don't have the right to inflict the same cruelty on others just because life has been terrible to you.
