This is a great book for parents and children who are, or want to be, followers of Christ. I love the honest and relatable curiosity of the children in the book, and the involvement of the parents. I also found it helpful and educational that the book references actual Bible verses and shares where to find them in the Bible. The author does a nice job of describing and answering questions about Heaven and Hell, in a way that a child can understand. This is a perfect tool for parents looking for a way to welcome their children’s questions about God, Jesus, and how we can earn our place in Heaven. I did not find any typos or errors in the book, however I’ve given this book a 4 out of 5 because I feel the conversation and description of Hell in the book can be quite scary and concerning for some. Although it may be necessary to learn that Hell is real and indeed a scary place you don’t want to be…I’m not sure I would want to use that threat with young children. Maybe I would focus more on the importance of following Jesus and accepting Him as your savior, and the benefit that brings in the afterlife, rather than the consequence. All in all, this is a heartwarming story.
