Twisted But True by Darren Burch is a book about a collection of crime cases that are based on true stories. These crime cases varied from robbery, sexual assault, homicide, murder and many more. The book also discusses how Darren Burch solved each criminal case and found the culprit. Some crime stories can be classified as weird and twisted. What made these stories more twisted than others? The readers need to read this book to find out.

After reading this book, I found a few positive aspects of it. I loved how the author also included some humor in the book. It made the book less scary and less sad. It made me want to keep reading the book. The crime stories also came with life lessons. I learnt a lot from the stories shared in the book. In addition, I also admired Darren for his bravery as a man and police officer. The scene when Darren was willing to risk himself to save a young girl's life from fire touched my heart. The other scene that touched my heart was when Darren helped the robber to aid his muscle cramp. Besides that, I laughed out loud at the scene when Darren chased the mad cow on the street. It was so hilarious. Furthermore, the author, Darren Burch, did a great job at writing this book because I did not find any grammatical errors or typos in it. The book was a mixture of mystery, sadness, and happiness with a little bit of humor.

However, certain topics can be sensitive to others, such as pedophilia, sexual assault, and abuse. Other than that, there were no negative aspects found in the book.

Thus, I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The way the author narrated the crime stories made the book more interesting. The book was also well-edited, with no grammatical errors. It was worth reading it.

Finally, I recommend this book to those who love to read mystery books. The crime stories in the book will keep you stuck to it until the end. Besides, I also recommend this book to those who want to be a police officer one day. They can get to learn how police officers solve their cases in this book. In addition, I recommend this book to young adults as some chapters consist of the actions of sexual intimacy, but not in detail.
