Review of Earth Won
Earth won is a science fiction and fantasy novel written by Arthur Seymour. This novel shares how important it is to uphold the earth's nature and environment. A man named Seymour is the protagonist in this novel. Seymour lives on an island with his dog and robots and he has a lab. When an evil organization called REED takes control of the world with the help of robots. They give a false impression to the world that they are doing good things to protect the earth and its environment. Seymour has a telepathic connection with the earth and he uses his ability to help the earth from the REED organization. And Seymour came across to see a girl who has the same telepathic connection with the earth both of them fall in to fight against the wants of the REED organization.
What are the intentions of the organization? How will Seymour and ruby stop the organization? Read the novel to fall into the world of a fight between evil and good.
There are many positive aspects in the book as it is a book which shows the importance to preserve the earth from climate issues. The story feels like a fast pace to me which kept me reading the book without getting bored and the characters are well developed, the one most character that caught my attention is glen, who is a dog who enjoys nature and intent to help and save it.
The small ideas shown in the story like dogs and cats a friend and the protagonist having a telepathic relationship with the earth will make the reader continue reading the book without getting uninterested. I didn’t expect there will be heroin in the book as there are already two leading characters who are glen and Seymour, anyway the introduction of ruby, who has the same telepathy connection with earth like Seymour made the story more dramatic.
Even if I enjoyed the book, it has many negatives, which I think most important is that overall, this story seems like a normal evil versus good story. Just like in a normal story, there is a protagonist who fights evil and at some point, in the story glen seems like his sidekick of Seymour. But at some point, of time in the story the scenes were enjoyable for a normal reader, for instance, the scenes where Seymour has a telepathic relationship with the earth and there are also some amusing scenes like the earth helping Seymour by blinding the satellites by storm.
I would like to rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. I couldn’t find any typos and errors which could affect the reader, and it is professionally edited. but I expected more from this novel and I couldn’t find any standalone feature from the novel.
And I like to recommend this book to young adults who start to read books, and readers who love to read the adventure genre could also enjoy this book. But if you are a person who wants a thriller and suspenseful storyline, I would not recommend this book.
