Review of A Dream For Peace
Keeping stories about your life and struggles for success in a book is a great way to get your motivation moving. A Dream for Peace: An Ambassador’s Memoir is a book that contains the experiences of a man named Ghoulem Berrah.
Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is a man born in Algeria to a family filled with stories of death. After his twin brothers died, his mother found it difficult to let her son out of her sight because of fear. Dr. Ghoulem Berrah finishes his secondary education and proceeds to read more. He arrives in Poitiers, finds the city empty, and decides to go south. He finally stopped in Bordeaux and went to university there. While in Bordeaux, Ghoulem forms a group that fights against racism and physical violence. He became more interested in reading about medicine when his mother died after a brief illness. Ghoulem meets Antoinette during his political activities as a fighter for peace. He develops feelings for Antoinette, and their relationship blossoms before they join the Maquis guerrillas together. They were arrested and separated. Grab this book to read more about Dr. Ghoulem Berrah and his desperate fight for Algeria’s freedom.
A Dream for Peace: An Ambassador’s Memoir, written by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah, is the story of the author’s life. The author shares his personal experiences in the 644-page book. The book reveals the beginning of the author and his life as a husband, politician, and scientist. The author added photographs of most people he met while touring the world.
This book gave me a clear view of how Ghoulem strived to change his environment. I enjoyed reading the part where he met his wife, Titi. I also found from the book that Ghoulem went around the world forty times. The book was exceptionally well-edited, as I encountered no errors while reading.
A Dream for Peace: An Ambassador’s Memoir by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah is an educational book with lots of historical information on different parts of the world. There was nothing to dislike about this book. From Ghoulem’s early life, I could see that his fight for peace was intentional. The addition of the photographs in the book made the book intriguing. I kept looking forward to more photos as I read on. Therefore, I rate this book five out of five stars for proper editing.
I recommend this book to lovers of history and memoirs. I recommend this book if you love reading about people’s lives or achievements. The book is suitable for young and old readers.
