JTs World was written by E. Alan Fleischauer. It is the final installment in a five-book western series starring John Thurgood Thomas. It was the grand opening of JT's World, a complex that includes, among other things, a hotel, a tavern, a theater, shops, a doctor's office, carousels, and even a Ferris wheel. But such a happy occasion was marred by murder. Mika, a singer at Billy's Tavern, was assassinated on her way to perform. JT Thomas had a ward named Madeline who looked exactly like Mika. The murderer intended to kill Madeline but mistakenly killed Mika.

Marcus Payne was Madeline's father and the man responsible for her mother Annabelle's death. He escaped from prison and planned to murder John Thurgood Thomas and Madeline. Instead, he murdered Mika, and Mika's death resulted in the deaths of two other people on the same night. This is not how a grand opening should be conducted. Because of these events, JT was advised to leave town for a while. Marcus saw the opportunity to hatch his plan when the others organized a farewell party for JT. However, it backfired, and he was killed instead. And this is only the start of an exciting adventure.

I am not a big fan of thrillers, but JT's World is a fun adventure novel. It was fast-paced, with many unexpected twists, but I was never lost. Even though I had not read the previous books in this series, I had no trouble following the plot. The characters in this book are also intriguing. I liked a couple of them, but John Thurgood Thomas was my favorite. Not because he is the protagonist, but because he is a nice guy in every way. When he meets someone in need, he never hesitates to lend a helping hand. Although there is some crude language and graphic descriptions in this book, it is not excessive and works well with the plot.

The only aspect of this story that did not sit well with me was the large number of deaths. It appeared to be the only way to get rid of someone who was causing a problem. Life is not always beautiful, and death is unavoidable, but I'd rather not be reminded of that when I am immersed in the world of the book I am reading.

This book gets four out of five stars from me. At every turn, there was suspense, adventure, and peril. It was enthralling and will keep you on the edge of your seat. But I did not like the fact that so many people died. It was also flawlessly edited, as I found no mistakes.

This book is recommended for fans of thrilling adventure novels. People who enjoy a good laugh will not be disappointed. This book is also recommended to readers who enjoy novels with happy endings.

Do you typically read westerns? I had the same thought about the number of deaths when I read and reviewed JT's World. Since it was my first time reading the genre I was wondering if that number of deaths was typical for the genre.
