In A Dream For Peace, Dr. Ghoulem Berrah shared his personal story, starting with his upbringing in Algeria and the special bond he had with his mother. He then delved into his journey to becoming a medical student, including the challenges and obstacles he faced along the way. The memoir also covered his transition from a freedom fighter to a respected historical figure and a role model for diplomacy. Along the way, Berrah recounted his scientific discoveries, emotional moments, and love stories.

Despite his background in medicine, Berrah's journey also included unexpected challenges, such as learning the techniques of a veterinarian to check the quality of fish and how to help cows with ear infections. The memoir is also a travelogue of Berrah's journey through different places, people, and missions, as he shared his experiences with passion and a desire to make a positive impact. The book was a compelling read that will take readers on a journey through Berrah's life and experiences.

Dr. Berrah's thoughts on racism, faith, and world peace were truly intriguing and captivating. I had the pleasure of discovering his work while reading, and it was an honor to be able to learn from such a renowned author. His character was truly remarkable, as he showed deep devotion, commitment, love for his country, and a strong faith. One particular topic that caught my attention was his view on happiness. He suggests that many of us tend to define ourselves through the possessions we acquire and link our happiness to them; however, Dr. Berrah believes that this approach only leads to a loss of our true identity and spirituality.

Another aspect of the book that stood out to me was the author's willingness to express his feelings honestly. The use of photographs was a unique feature that helped me to connect with the events described in the book. Dr. Berrah's unwavering determination for peace, even during difficult times, was truly inspiring. His writing style was also noteworthy, as it was clear, concise, and easy to understand. Furthermore, the book offered a new perspective on African history and reinforced the idea that peaceful means are the most effective way to achieve a resolution. The author's peaceful approach to freedom was particularly striking and noteworthy. There was nothing I disliked about the book.

I found A Dream For Peace by Dr. Ghoulem Berrah to be a well-written and informative read. The author's inclusion of an official letter to authenticate the book was a thoughtful touch, and it added to the book's credibility. The language was clear and easy to follow, and I only found one error in it, which means the book was professionally edited. Due to this, I rate the book 5 out of 5 stars. The reasons for my rating were the positive aspects mentioned. I recommend this book to lovers of the history and politics of African nations.

Racism is something that could cause emotional trauma, especially when experienced right from childhood. I love the fact that Berrah fought so well to bring peace and freedom to his country.
