Review of Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks
Dr. Morton E. Tavel, MD, is a professor at Indiana University School of Medicine and a specialist in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases. Several knowledge, thoughts, and established theories on human nutrition and health practices have been uncovered through years of research and medical practice. In his book, Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks, the author shares all of these with the public.
The author, who elucidates these notions in three parts, as the title implies, divides them into three sections. The first section is to educate the public about the origins and effects of obesity, as well as common misunderstandings and myths about certain food consumption, as well as the secrets behind common medical practices that deceive the public and the importance of proper and confirmed treatment.
For example, the author discusses the advantages of eating breakfast, as well as other surprising advice for living a strong, healthy, and long life, which many people don't think about or even notice.
This is a book that will endure until the end of time. This is because medicine is an inextricable aspect of human life, and it is a never-ending cycle of existence. The book was essentially full of tips from which one could choose and study, and it was really educational. Furthermore, the author's use of simple and attractive phrases aided readers' comprehension. The author simplified it even further, by providing numerous instances without leaving anything out. The author also supported numerous of his beliefs with statistical proof, which helped to solidify his story, particularly in a good perspective. Overall, the book was both educational and inspiring.
I wished this book didn't finish because it left me wanting more. As a result, it is appropriate to give it a rating of 4 out of 4 stars. The book was chock-full of useful advice that I'll remember for a long time. The most crucial aspect of this book is for readers to comprehend its content and, most importantly, put it to use. There was also nothing odd about this book that I noticed.
I discovered an error in the book, despite that it was beautifully and thoroughly edited. It is also free of sexual content, however, it does contain some profane language.
I would recommend this book to medical students and those who value healthy living because it contains ideas and information on how to live a long and healthy life. Because of the aforementioned rationale, I would also recommend the book to persons who are suffering illnesses.
