Bluewater Walkabout: Into Africa by Tina Dreffin is a book that tells the story of the adventurous journey of the author and her family. Tina wrote about her personal life experience and the challenges she went through in life.

The author, Tina Dreffin, begins the book with her expedition with her family to Johannesburg, South Africa. Tina is a woman who sees adventures as a way to heal from her past experiences. She was sexually abused and harassed by her colleagues and male clients. Tina met her husband, Peter, at Keith's wedding. Keith is Tina's brother. He helped Tina during her trying times when she left her job for a better life. Peter and Tina started talking after Keith introduced them to each other. They developed an interest in each other and sailed on the lake and had fun together. Peter and Tina gave birth to two sons, Warren and Adam. Their love for adventures made them embark on an adventure to tour around the world. They toured through countries like Grenada and South Africa and visited places like the Kruger National Park. They also met new people and learned a lot about the places they visited. Grab a copy of this book to find out more about the author and her family.

Reading amazing books like this makes me happy. The author is an exceptional writer. I like a lot of things in this book. I like the author's narrative style and use of simple words, which makes it easy for readers to comprehend. I like the author's use of flashbacks and dialogue. I also like the author's love life with her husband, Peter. Having gone through different unpleasant experiences with men in the past, she still had an open heart to love and forget about her past experiences with men. I learned a lot of things from this book. I learned about a lot of places and countries. I really love places like the Kruger National Park, and I would really love to visit there with my friends or family. I encourage most women who are in similar situations to that of the author to learn from her.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with this book. The author painted a very vivid picture in the minds of the readers. The author really went through difficult situations in life. I felt emotional about the author's past experiences. I was sad when I read about how the author spent her Christmas holiday in the hospital because she was diagnosed with breast cancer. I also dislike the fact that she had to endure rape and sexual harrassment from men.

I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found a few errors. This shows it was professionally edited. I recommend this book to women and lovers of adventure.

Memoirs like this can be a way for authors to process and come to terms with significant events or periods in their lives.
