Review of Fear Not, Dream Big, & Execute
Fear Not, Dream Big & Execute by Jeff Meyer is an inspirational masterpiece. It dares you to dream and talks about the clarity of your dream and its realization. The author hopes that every reader will realize their dreams.
The 289-page book is divided into two parts; dream sparks and realization strategies. Each part has thirty rich lessons for the reader to learn from. The author appreciates the singularity of vision, as each of us is God’s unique masterpiece. The author wants to ignite a spark in the reader’s mind, to dream and execute ruthlessly. He talks about mapping out actionable steps and routines to keep readers accountable for their dream. Do you want to catch a spark that ignites a burning desire to dream? Then this inspirational book is necessary for you.
The book has some diagrams and tables, which simplify the author’s line of thought. Also, exercises and journals after each lesson help the readers access themselves and be accountable. Jeff Meyer believes that once a dream is sparked, the way will be marked out as long as one fixes his or her eye on Jesus. The book is simple and straight to the point; anybody can easily understand it.
The author encourages coaching, providing support and courage to pursue one’s dream. He also promotes growth and notes that fear keeps people from dreaming, as people fear failure in any form. He encourages the readers to fix their focus on God when faced with an obstacle. Jesus cares about every aspect of our life and is willing to help us achieve our dreams. Jeff Meyer encourages us to pursue Jesus more and show more gratitude. This will keep us close to God and deliver us from the busyness in the world. He exposes the tactics of the enemy of our soul, the devil, and how to overcome them.
The author encourages building friendship and being intentional in nurturing it. Being around people of like mind can propel one to pursue their dreams with great zeal. He affirms that it is okay to be vulnerable. It is a true form of strength because it keeps us from falling into pride. Embracing limitations can make one tap into creativity at deep levels. He wants us to dream, plan and achieve our goals. He advises us to move forward and develop strategies to overcome our limitations. He believes in replacing unhealthy habits with healthy habits to help us achieve our dreams.
The author believes it is okay to join a support network to keep one accountable. He did not underestimate the power of social media. He agrees that social media helps gain understanding and support, but we must establish healthy boundaries to achieve our dreams. He wants us to control our time and be true to our calling.
There is nothing I don’t like about the book. Therefore, I rate Fear Not, Dream Big & Execute 4 out of 4 stars because it was professionally edited. I recommend this book to the theologians, depressed, and lovers of inspirational books.
