This book have presented a overview of several famous Bible stories. It started by thanking all who inspired him to write this book and move on to chapter one which was the introduction, basically talking about the author and when he began learning about the Bible. The second chapter came pretty fast and it was the best chapters of this book, it spoked about how flimsy makers looked for interesting Bible stories to tell, ordinal or not. Chapter three was about the story of jacob and Joseph and how hacob was his mothers favorite and his father was going to put his esau as next in line. In this chapters the autor shared him opinion on the flim and compared its ending to other flims sayinv that other Joseph films have the poignant reunion between Joseph and Jacob, but that is missing from this movie. Chapter four was based on the movie called the ten commandments. Its the most famous Bible movie ever made and effectively put that genre on the map.the author shared that not only was the ten commandments snubbed from being the best picture of 1956 ,but it only won one Academy award -for special effects.( lacking the computer technology of today ,the special effects of that flimsy were often accomplished very clearly.)On chapter five its was a story about ruth( 1960 )and one night with the king (2006). The author compared the two flimsy saying that the 1960 flim looks a bit dated compared to the modern 2006 looking movie. Chaorer sec entales the story of David and Bathsheba. The author proudly stated that the story has all the elements necessary for a good flim :action ,lovemaking, poignancy, a moral dilemma and a happy ending. He then argued that even with this great resume ,this epic flimsy doesn't have the granduer extravagance of the ten commandments or Solomon and sheba. Lastly was chapter seven which was the epilogue where the author discussed that the list of Bible movies is far from complete and continues to go to this day.so basically about the author talks about bible movies that was based on the Bible and shared his opinions. Its a good read for someone who have knowledge and understanding of the Bible and its stories.I give this book a 2/4
