People around the world are faced with many decisions regarding their health. This is sometimes a major factor that might lead to believing anything health-related on the media, seeking fast solutions, engaging in alternative medicines, and so on. Most times, the solution you seek when it comes to the matter of health is always within your reach. But failure to acknowledge that always leads to believing misconceptions of one product or the other, which most times doesn't benefit the consumers, but rather those who produce them all to make gains.

Health Tips, Myths, and Tricks by Morton E Travel, MD is a non-fiction book covering most topics that are health-related, giving readers more clear information on certain health tips, myths, and tricks. This book is a very informative book with 62 chapters, talking about all matters of health, and it is divided into three sections. The first section, from chapter 1 to chapter 32 talks about health tips. This section of the book tells readers about the aids to losing weight, guiding them along the path, and revealing some effective tips and warning against tips that are not beneficial which he listed as "useless", and also dangerous tips. This section of the book also talked about the consumption of coffee, green tea, chocolates, red meat, salt, and also well-known health issues like the common cold, hypertension, heartburn, and the importance of sleep.

The second section of this book talks about common myths, and it started from chapters 33 to 52 in this book. This part of this book is capable of giving shocks to readers. This is not only because it is informative, but it is also because it exposes lots of lies that are being broadcasted on the media such as; the consumption of energy drinks, which they say boosts one's energy to function, use of Wi-Fi, allergies and so on, which most things weren't true about them. The third section which talks about tricks is another part, and it started right from chapters 53 to 62. This section is based on exposing the tricks that are commonly used all over the world. In this present society, imagine you are a great fan of a certain celebrity, and then he or she advertises a product. Wouldn't u want to try it out? Might be funny enough, but according to this book, it's one of the commonly used tricks played. I urge you to read, for there are lots to be discovered.

As I read through every section of this book, I couldn't believe most of the things I read. Not because they weren't true, but because I was in complete shock. Most of these topics Travel covered were very important, and I learned a lot from this book. This is a book that best describes the context, "a stitch in time saves nine." I loved the fact that he wasn't afraid to state his claims, which he did, along with proofs dating back years ago. I also admired his boldness to call out certain personnel, who were involved in the formation of misleading myths and practices of harmful tricks. This is also the kind of book, which after informing you, would set your mind at ease, and even make you laugh at some point.

This book is very informative and expository, and I found nothing to hate about it. It had some editorial errors like unnecessary spaces in-between words and a few typos which didn't affect the flow of the book. Despite all that, I rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. This book is deserving of my rating because it is very informative, easy to understand, and capable of saving lives. This book is meant for everyone. I still recommend it to those interested in the matters of health, and those who are having certain health issues. Health is wealth, never forget that.

This sounds like a very informative book on health and well-being. Thanks to the author—who is an MD and thus knows what he's talking about—to educate people on the myths and tricks in the health industry.
Thanks for this thorough and wonderful review. :tiphat:
