At a point in the author's life when he was diagnosed with grand mal seizures resulting from a prior diagnosis of brain cancer, he mustered enough strength to bless the world with this beautiful piece. M. Curtis McCoy wrote How To Be Successful while going through the most difficult phase of his life. I honestly admire his strength.

The book is a self-help book that seeks to motivate anyone who flips through its pages to strive against all odds to become successful in virtually all levels of life. The author utilised the stories of people who are well respected and renowned as success references in different areas of life to motivate the reader. The reader is told to chase his dreams and believe in his ability to achieve them regardless of the obstacles he encounters on the way. The author shared many tips to successful living in the book; find out these tips for yourself.

I found a lot of things to love about the book. I love that the information shared by the author were validated and consolidated by the stories of men and women who, despite life's many challenges, have beat the odds to achieve success in different facets of life. Through these stories, he proved the effectiveness of the information contained in the book. I saw more reasons to believe the author and stay motivated to try out the tips in the book when I learnt the same tips worked for others. I also love that the book was concise and straight to the point. The author didn't bore the reader with details that are unconnected to the central theme of the book.

I found absolutely nothing to dislike about the book. The author simplified the steps to success. The concepts were not too technical for the average reader to grasp. The diction was equally simple enough for any reader to comprehend without struggle.

I found no spelling and grammatical errors in the book. I believe the book was exceptionally well-edited. Consequently, I give the book 4 out of 4 stars. I didn't give the book a lower rating because I totally enjoyed every bit of it. The book was realistic and highly educative. Success is guaranteed for whoever can diligently apply the principles contained in this book.

People seeking to achieve success in different facets of their lives will find this book very helpful. Readers interested in finding ways to be successful in their businesses could also pick important points from the book. Leaders who wish to perform better at their leadership positions could use a lot of information from this book. In other words, I recommend the book to the people mentioned above.

I love when authors share their real life experiences with their readers. To me it shows a great deal of vulnerability which should be appreciated. Nicely done review! :D
