At the age of 27 years old, the author owned companies. Things started being bad when he was diagnosed with cancer. Life did not favour him but instead, he knew he can control it. Due to his desire to be successful, at one point, he met a guy driving a Ferrari and decided to introduce himself and inquired about how he became successful. Through reading their conversation, I learned that one can be where he or she is because of his or her decision. In addition, people can hate you for being successful because they don't know your story. For example, a homeless man in this novel shouts angrily at the author because he was driving a good car. There are also interviews with various people and responses they gave to these questions. An interview with M. Curtis McCoy educates that one should take charge of his life, and never take ownership of misfortunes. It also defines gratification. Have you ever wondered how you should treat your customers? Do you have poor social skills on how to make friends? This novel How To Be Successful
by M. Curtis McCoy will help you achieve it.

I like how this book encouraged the ability of my mind to be creative and resourceful. It ignited the part of my brain that imagines things and helped me create new ideas and concepts of the external world and objects. It positively quoted verses from the Bible. In addition, it quotes what has been said by other people. The language used and vocabulary involved is simple and makes it easy to understand while reading through. It is also educative since the writer has a written interview with responses from those interviewed.

I think this novel should have printed notes at the end of the book. Since it has no printed notes or summary, it makes it lose a rate because I can't refer in summary all that I read through. It also lacks a list of technical words with their meaning explained, I always find it useful in referring to words that I doubt it meaning while reading. The wording of the chapters should be made bold with big fond. This will enable us to know with ease which chapter I man in.

I rate this Novel 3 out of 4 stars. The reason for this rating is because; it is educative, it involves religion by quoting Bible verses, and it has written in quotes what other writers wrote. The reason why I did not give a rating of four is that it lacks endnotes and a list of technical words.

I recommend this book to Christians, people who are looking forward to achieving business success, people who have given up in life and all people who are in dire need of tips to be successful.

I only found few errors which are spacing errors within the novel and typing errors. There are no vulgar words involved as well as zero levels of profanity.
