Did you finally decide to write that fiction story that you've been planning to? Or are you one of those persons who already have an entire book in mind, but when you try to write it, it doesn't seem as good as it was in your mind? If yes, then you need to read Creating Literary Stories: A Fiction Writer's Guide by William H. Coles. It is a manual for those who wish to become good fiction writers. It's a two books in one that explains step by step procedures and techniques to develop good fiction stories or books.

William H. Coles presents and explains in detail what exactly writers have to do in order to write great fiction stories. He explains how to properly develop the characters, how to narrate, how to develop the dialogues, emotions, plot, setting, and so on.

This manual is very rich in terms of knowledge; it is practical and theoretical at the same time. It presents and explains the theories behind all the elements that make part of any literary text, as well as practical examples that illustrate better the assumptions that the author defends in the book. It's very clear that the author deeply knows what he's talking about. And his credibility his well deserved. In fact, he won 47 awards for his fictional productions, which makes this book a reliable source.

I tried to write my stories before. However, the final outcomes didn't match the way I thought my stories to be. And I concluded that I had no talent at all, and I stopped writing. But when I saw this book, I thought that I had found the solution to my problem. And that was the main reason I chose this book. Fortunately, I was not disappointed; the book taught me a lot of new things. The things I learned with the book opened my mind to new perspectives on how to improve my writings, and I am sure it will help whoever wishes to improve his abilities.

I recommend this book to anyone who is trying to write a great fiction story and to writers in general since the book not only explains what fiction writers should do, but it also contrasts fiction with the other genres, making it suitable for any writer who seeks to improve his own writing techniques. Moreover, I did not find any reason to dislike this book. It was very well written and edited, I found very minor errors. Therefore, the errors didn't convince me enough to give this book less than 4 out of 4 stars .
