Yes, Sod's involvement was also another part that intrigued me. Thanks for commenting.

I wonder if this book can be read as a standalone. It had appeared on my review list and I was tempted to try it because Matthew Tysz sure knows how to showcase the Fantasy genre. Thanks for putting forth such a detailed review! Lovely work!

I followed the book from the first installment, and I think you might not understand everything. So, I recommend you start from the beginning. Thanks for leaving a comment.

I feel so left out; everyone seems to be following the series. I am eager to go on to the second book and beyond.

I'm already enjoying Galen, it's like he's the major character in this series. Sound like an interesting and amazing read. Great review.

I really enjoyed your description about the development of Galen and his relationship with Rowan and Demetrius. Meldorath is intriguing and has me wondering about his motives?? Thanks for this fantastic review. I need to get caught up on this series! Thanks for the great writing.

From reading the reviews, I always think of Meldorath as the bad guy. It sounds like he is still bad, but “the enemy of my enemy is my friend.” Thanks for your thorough review!
