Review by Ellylion -- Rescued by E. Alan Fleischauer
Rescued by E. Alan Fleischauer is a breathtaking Western novel about the adventures of John Thurgood Thomas or just JT. The book takes us to Colorado during the gold rush, right to the cave full of treasures, and then to the delusive luxury of New York's hotels, auction houses, and even to one of its courtrooms.
As JT was checking out the beautifully furnished cave that formerly belonged to a now dead gold miner, he noticed three women tied to the wagon. One of the women was injured.
JT rescued them, of course. He also helped another one girl, named Jean, who behaved rather strange ever since. This occurrence of events led to many spectacular escapades, a treasure hunt, bank robberies, killing bad guys, seeking justice, and a wonderful love story.
The plot line of this book has very many twists and turns. The narrative unfolds rather quickly. The characters are very well developed, and it's hard not to support the protagonists and not to root against the antagonists. The impression they make is strong and deep. JT himself is a knight in shining armor, and it's impossible not to admire him. Also, the book has a charming and very positive main female character, named Annabelle.
I loved most about this book how delicately and lovingly the author addressed the burning questions. For example, the best friend of JT's father was a black person. More than that, both of his parents were abolitionists. JT's love interest, Annabelle, is a nurse and a healer. A large part of her knowledge and education came from Native Americans. Helping those in need, love, acceptance, and even care about animals play a huge part in this fascinating book.
My less favorite moments of the book are a couple of unfinished plot lines, or so they seem. For example, Jean disappears quite abruptly without any mention of her further fate. The same could be said about Emma, JT's and Annabelle's friend and an owner of a boarding house, that was intentionally set on fire. But, considering that there are other books in the JT Thomas Saga, I hope the author clarifies the mentioned above story lines in them. It is needless to say I am really looking forward to reading them all as well.
The book was professionally edited, and it's my great pleasure to give it 4 out of 4 stars.
The book has examples of profane language and light erotic content, so young children should not read it. Also, the book includes scenes of violence, but they are not too disturbing or excessive. The book touches on the subject of reincarnation after death in the frames of the religious beliefs of Native Americans. In my opinion, the given examples are very lovely and touching, and that's why they cannot offend readers with different religious beliefs or non-believers.
I recommend this amazing Western novel to a large audience because it clearly exceeds the frames of the genre. A profound love line appeals to all those who prefer reading romance novels. Scenes in the court may be attractive to detective drama fans. Also, this book brings up the theme of feminism, and readers of books with strong female characters may find it compelling. Overall, this book is suitable for all those who love fast-paced, thrilling stories with unexpected endings.

This book doesn't seem to lack adventure at all. I would have reviewed it if I could. Anyways, it's nice to see that it lives up to the hype. Great job!
