I don't read much romantic fiction and probably won't get around to reading this one, but I enjoyed your review of it.

This sounds like a book for the beach, where one doesn't always look for something serious.
Life without a good book is something MrsCatInTheHat cannot imagine.

The book's title alone let's you imagine so many things, and thanks to your review because I also got more insights about the book. I would love to read about mae's love adventure.

This does indeed sound like a sweet novel. We could all appreciate a little sweetness sometimes. Thank you for a well-written, entirely enjoyable review.

Circumstances prevent his return; eventually, Mae moves on with her life. Her first love, however, is not forgotten

It's really heartwarming to see that the author finally reached her life-long dream and had the opportunity to write her first novel. Thank you for your lovely review!

I have a personal ambition to also write a book at some point in my life. Reading how other authors started off would be inspiring for me as well.
Thank you for the review.
