The Mindset: My Journey from Janitor to Silicon Valley Millionaire in Five Years is a memoir written by Ace Bowers. This is not a lengthy book and can easily be read in one sitting.

In the first chapter, the author relates his deeply personal journey as a young child growing up in a poor, dysfunctional family. He talks about how childhood experiences shaped his perception of himself and the world. The rest of the book, he explains why and how he changed his life. He discusses the news that shook him to the core and what gave him the motivation and drive to improve the circumstances of his life. Next, he relives his journey from barely getting by on minimum wage, to becoming a multi-millionaire in five years. The author explains his incremental rise to success and what he did to earn money.

I liked the author's honesty and humility. He openly and courageously talks about his life growing up and the issues he faced with his family. The fact that he recognizes and acknowledges the help he received from God, his wife and children are heartwarming and admirable. I appreciated how the author was able to become successful. He narrated his story in a simple and straightforward manner. The author explained his success in such a way that made it seem simple and replicable. He talked about the qualities that helped him to succeed and the importance of motivation.

The author could have chosen the paths similar to his friend or brother. He chose otherwise and created a great life for himself and his family. He was a regular young man, who found the motivation to build a life of his choice and not follow the default path.

It is an interesting book told with good momentum, an engaging tone, and candor. There were no grammatical errors, so the book seemed professionally edited. I did not find anything to dislike. This is a book everyone should read. Ace Bowers' life story is proof that the circumstance of a person’s life does not decide their future. A man who was able to move beyond the mindset of his early years to build an amazing life in accordance with his new mentality.

This is not just a memoir; it is a great motivational book. I gave it a rating of 4 out of 4. I would recommend it to readers who may have suffered setbacks in life and are searching for a genuine example of someone who has overcome their past. This is an excellent book for young adults since there are many valuable lessons contained within its pages. Readers who enjoy motivational stories and memoirs may also like this book. This is not for audiences who do not enjoy memoirs or prefer fictional stories.

Sounds like a great inspirational book. Even if I'm not much of a fan of memoirs, as it looks intriguing, I think I'll read this book. So, thanks a lot for your wonderful review.

I am currently in a memoir phase, reading and reviewing multiple memoirs. This seems to be an easy-to-read book, and I wouldn't mind reading this next. Great review!

Normally I'd read memoirs but this doesn't really stand out to me, unfortunately. Gonna pass up on it, but excellent review.
