Quite a different yet a familiar sort of fiction. Author must have taken great effort to correctly weave the picture in between numerous cultures and scenes. I would love to try this one. Congratulations on being BOTD and thanks for the free giveaway

This is a historical fiction novel with action, adventure and fantasy. It is an amazing sequel to an interesting book series. The book is free on Smarshwords and has an inciteful OnlineBookClub review. I rated the book 4 out of 4 stars. Congrats Patrick Donahoe for the BOTD.

I like very much the idea of seeing different cultures and time periods through an engaging story! And I always enjoy a bit of romance so I'll add it to my to-read shelf.
Your review is very complete and it covers a lot without spoilers. Amazing job, thanks!

Great review. I am not usually a fan of historical fiction except in special cases. This book sounds like one of those cases. These characters who are nearly immortal and their stories sound incredibly intriguing. I love action, adventure, fantasy and plot twists. These are the exact things that spice up historical fiction to a must read for me. Thanks so much for sharing.

With twists, turns, action-packed adventures, romance, and immortal beings, this book has a little bit of everything. Tuck in a little bit of historical fiction and you have a first-rate story here.

Finally, a meaning of millenial that I can get on board with! The trials of four semi-immortal friends sound fascinating - how do they adapt to different cultures, and how do they hid their secret? Are they lonely? I am looking forward to checking out the free copy.

Four semi-immortals that travel to the past and present? Sounds like an interesting premise. The Select sounds scary. Hopefully the heroes can stop them from taking over. I haven't read the first one, so I wonder if I would be lost reading this one. Glad you found the author's writing style to be unique, and that the author describes different cultures overtime well. Action-packed, twists and turns, vivid descriptions, and a well-developed plot? Sounds like many would enjoy this one. I'm glad you were one of them! Thanks for sharing!

Combination of history and fantasy sounds interesting. It's obvious from the review that the book is well written. I will check this book set later, when I have all three. Thank you for the detailed review.

This book looks like an interesting story about semi-immortal beings. The narrative that goes back through time lends an added point of interest to the character and plot development.
