Heartaches 3 by H.M Irwing is the third trilogy of the Heartache Bad Boy Vibes series. It is an enthralling memoir that is categorized under the crime thriller fiction genre. This book is intended to be enjoyed by both adults and young children who will undoubtedly find it to be a good read, because of its valuable life lessons. There is a mixture of humor, love and family, pursuit of justice and courage. The leading characters Anna and Rafael are in pursuit of justice following their respective rape assaults in the hands of their detractors. Anna had been raped by Matt whereas Rafe is assaulted by Eric Dayton while at the military college. The two are determined to make their detractors pay for the crimes. However, the aforementioned accused person uses their wealth and status in the society to frustrate the judicial system.

I loved Certain scenarios created within the book were really interesting and heartwarming. The author H.M Irwing portrayal of Anna’s family was really nice. There is an aura of love in the family. Anna has a close relationship with her mother and father, through the latter is deceased. Her mother is her confidante and the shoulder she leans on in the dark moments. Apart from that, their relationship with Brian Simmons, Anna’s step brother, was really nice. They welcome him to their home unconditionally and treats him like family. Such depiction of family I believe is good for all the readers of this book.

At the same time, I was disappointed with characters like Brian Simmons for masterminding the rape incident of his sister Anna. He is a monster created by the love affair between Anna’s mother and his dad. He blames Anna for their father abandoning his family and thus takes revenge on her by masterminding her rape. That was inhumane. Whatever the reasons for doing it, that was inhumane. Who plans the rape of his sister? He is a disgrace to brotherhood.

Additionally, I loved the novel’s character development. Characters like Anna, Rafe, Pat and Brian helps to build each other character and matures in the process. They play an integral role in the development of this novel. For example, Brian changes from the emotional, vengeful persons into a man helping Anna to get evidence she needs to bring down Matt. That was lovely of him. His behavioral change is attributed to the unconditional love shown to him by Anna’s family.

Without further hesitation, I confer on this novel 3 out of 4 stars rating. I have taken away the one star because I was dissatisfied with its ending. The antagonists are not given a proper ending. I would have preferred to see them go throughhe trials in the judiciary. I would recommend this novel to persons who love thriller novels. It is an excellent book and had no errors.

You would have included other characters other than Anna and Rafael.
