Belle Ami tells us a thrilling love story set in a fast paced dangerous world in her book titled Escape. Cyrus and Layla give us a glimpse into the world of the intelligence community. Their steamy romance in the course of their fight for survival keeps the reader glued to the book.

I found the novel interesting. It's somewhat controversial stance on nuclear proliferation in the middle east was interesting. I think it's interesting to see how Iran's nuclear program is condemned while nothing is mentioned of Israel's own. I was however moved by the general condemnation of nuclear proliferation. Belle Ami in a methodical way blends steamy romance with fast paced action while shedding light on the dangers of a middle east with nuclear weapons.
On the down side, the book had a couple of grammatical errors though not significant. The narrative also looses steam at the end. The story was in a way predictable.
I rate the book 3 out of 4 stars. This is mainly because of the predictable nature of the end. It is however a good read. I would recommend it for anyone who loves the intriguing action packed world of the military and a little romance. Warning though, the book contains explicit sexual content and would best suit a mature audience
