Review of Yesterday
Sometimes for Some people, reincarnation might be something that will make them curious and fascinated meanwhile for some it may sound ridiculous. Samyann takes her readers on a journey through the unforgettable love story of Amanda Park and Mark Callahan while unveiling their strong connection from their past lives to the present through her novel Yesterday.
The Novel Yesterday by Samyann shows us how a beautiful young lady, Amanda Park saves a Police officer, Mark Callahan from an accident and how they immediately feel drawn to each other and feel they're familiar when they've never met before.
After several factors and instances which increase her suspicions, Amanda then begins searching for the answers to the questions in her heart with the help of Mary, her Godmother who's a psychiatrist, and Mark Callahan. As a person who experienced losing all her loved and close people, Amanda hesitates to let anyone get closer to her in the fear of losing them. Will Mark be able to break the walls and Enter Amanda's heart? Will they find answers to why they feel connected? Are they related to each other in their past lives?
You have to read the book to find the answers to these questions.
While I was reading this book, I felt this book has been professionally edited and the author succeeded in keeping me curious to find out what happens next. The author did a mind-blowing job of describing both the past and present times while giving us a vivid imagination of the settings. I loved how curious the author made me feel through each episode to read and find out the past connection between both Amanda and Mark similar to how Mark and Amanda felt to find out their past themselves. Also, I loved how the little details like the clock's chimes made a lot of sense as we discover the truth of the past life.
But, here were a few things I didn’t like about this book. I sometimes felt confused about the past life's people's accents and felt that some parts were rushed, and it would've been perfect if it was not so rushed even though I found some profanity words in the book.
I rate this book four out of five stars because of how the author made me hooked on the story and the contentment I got through reading the book. Apart from the negative elements I have mentioned, I find it a Good Book to spend time reading.
For Readers who like romance combined with mystery, I recommend this book.
I also recommend fantasy readers give this book a try to experience this journey of Reincarnation.
