Living in Color is a love story or you can call it a modern love story which is sometimes messy and very complicated. It is written about a woman who had more and different understanding about life, determined to live and fight to rise above pain rather than eliminating it. Although it is a tragic story, it is also an uplifting story about rising above pain and fighting with courage knowing that you may not win. The chemistry between Mike and Margot is very natural and made to be.

Mike Murphy shares his true love story with Margot who changed his life for good when they met. Inside the sadness and the suffering I see courage, acceptance and love far beyond. I have also learnt that life is not about avoiding or eliminating the pain and suffering that comes with human experience but about rising above it. I fell in love with Margot through her attitude, when Mike is crying over the scan report she is already prepared to give another fight and just wants to enjoy thanksgiving. The author is encouraging readers to always see beyond their pain and suffering through his story. Always focus on the positive side of life.

There is nothing negative about this book but most the uplifting love story through sickness and health. Margot is very determined to live and fight despite knowing that she could lose. This book is both emotional and inspirational which will make you cry and laugh at the same time.

I rate the book four out of fours stars for the confounding story. It was well-edited.

I recommend this book to cancer patients out there and people battling with other illnesses who are ready to give up. This book will give you hope and courage to fight and rise above your situation or illness. It will remind you that life is not about the pain you are going through but having the courage to fight as well as the determination to live. You will find hope in this book that can be transcended with grace and love.
