Three interrelated stories are told in a suspenseful narrative of crime and morality. The VT2 watch, which can estimate one's remaining days, is used as both a tool for self-improvement and a weapon by individuals with evil intentions in Van Fleisher's Final Act. Vijay Patel joins forces with Agent Zoe and a group of pals as they set out on a mission to expose the covert users of the technology. In the meantime, Mildred, a scarred policewoman out for vengeance, struggles with her impending death and the chance it offers. These stories probe the depths of human decision-making while testing the boundaries of morality in the face of dire repercussions.

I adored this book beyond measure. I was immediately engrossed in the intriguing and intricate plot, with its intertwined tales and the novel idea of the VT2 watch. I became quite involved in the moral investigation as I read, thinking about the morally challenging decisions the characters had to make in light of their imminent doom. It provoked contemplation in me and caused me to consider my own beliefs. I was left wanting more because the story kept me wondering right up to the very end.

Character development was what i didn't like about the book. The tertiary character, Yuri Chernyshevsky, was inadequately shown even though the primary characters were well-developed. Except for the final, ambiguous clue that he was a Russian foreign agent, his past wasn't sufficiently explored, making it impossible for the reader to picture his personality.

I would give this book a score of 4 out of 5 stars. I was completely engrossed throughout due to the plot's intrigue and complexity as well as its examination of morals. The interconnected stories and the VT2 watch concept were interesting and thought-provoking. Due to some predictable story twists and the absence of secondary character development, which was evident in Yuri, I took away one star from the book. It is still a very enjoyable book, though. Readers who appreciate action-packed thrillers with a political undertone should pick up this book, in my opinion. This book was exceptionally well edited.
