Review of Final Act
Final Act, written by Van Fleisher, is a fictional book that is the second in the "Final Series", the first being Final Notice. Vijay Patel and his company, VitalTech, designed a watch that informed the wearer when they were close to death. The technology efficiently informed the wearers when they were close to death but increased gun violence among the final notice recipients. People who received final notice the author referred to as final notice recipients. The gun violence reaches the FBI's attention, and an agent of the FBI, Zoe, decides to work with Vijay to study the aggressiveness of final notice recipients and stop the violence in time. In the election year, people witness high-profile killings of politicians. Vijay sells his company, and the company gets a new CEO who provokes Vijay's access to the company's data. As the final notice killings continue, Vijay wants to find a way to have access to VitalTech data to help Zoe stop the crimes. Will he succeed? Read this book and find out.
I liked several aspects of this book that made the book enjoyable. Firstly, I like the author's creativity in designing the story. Designing this story to show people the power of technology encourages people to be creative, encouraging people to read it. Secondly, the characters well fully developed, hence, engaging the reader. The author used dialogue for conversations between the characters, which made the characters engaging. Finally, I liked the thriller part of the novel. It was evident, especially when the final notice recipients committed crimes by murdering people. It was like watching an action movie making it enjoyable.
I did not find anything to dislike in this book since it was great. The flow was great, showing how the company invented the watches only to discover they increased gun violence. Readers connected the individual scenes of the story, hence, enjoying the story.
I rate Final Act by Van Fleisher four out of four stars. The book was exceptionally well-edited; hence, I found no errors. It had many positive aspects, and there were no negative aspects. The storyline was great and educative to the reader. Since the book was great in all aspects deducting a star would be unfair; hence, the rating.
I recommend this book to lovers of criminal justice and thriller novels. They won't be disappointed once they read this book since it involves criminal justice and thriller. The final notice recipients commit murder, forcing the FBI to investigate to solve the crimes and know their origin. The thriller part was evident since it explained how the final notice recipients committed crimes.
