Seems like a nice crime fighting book. The roles of Alex and Lara are tricky. I would love to see how it unravels.

The references to some quotes to prove the characters’ points were charming. The importance of family and loyalty were also emphasized, which was soothing. I have to commend the author for the challenging and smart discussion at the end, which had a lasting impression on me.

This paragraph was a clincher for me. Excellent summary and review. I look forward to enjoying this book because of you.

So Alex and Lara are a couple, and they are assassins, but they're not necessarily bad guys...? Intriguing indeed. As to Special Agent Cody, I'd say his choice is pretty clear, but something tells me I'd be surprised. Thanks for a nice review.

This criminal thriller seems like it is well-written and exceptionally thought-provoking. The plot reminds me of those ethical scenarios the class would discuss when I was in school. Great review!

This books looks interesting. I think that I will read it because it has to do with a mystery thriller and that is rather exciting. Books with major plot twists always keep me in the edges.

The review of Black Hat/White Hat showed that the reviewer had read the entire book and highly enjoyed it. It was an engrossing review that has me wanting to read this book, even though detective novels are not my first choice. The idea of vigilante detection is intriguing.

Who doesn't dream of punishing scammers with all kinds of vile deeds? Alex and Lara are two hitmen with a moral compass. And scammers using the phone or the computer are evil. Alex and Lara's elaborate plans are fun to watch unfold and then there is Cody the FBI agent assigned to catch them. Just how close is Cody to the "criminals"? I really enjoyed Cody's interactions with police from around the world and his earnest attempts to find the elusive pair doing what he wishes he could do. Black Hats even have a code that they frown on people breaking. And when that code is broken you send Alex and Lara. The ending will surprise you!

Vigilante justice is always viewed poorly by the media. However, in many cases, the act is provoked by the "victim." I support people who are willing to stand their ground. This book shows a unique view how two people who have intentions of making life better for more than just themselves. I look forward to reading it.
