Randy Love… At Your Service is a story that depicts the life of a happy go lucky young man going through the struggles of growing up & making a life for himself away from his father’s constant watch. A guy with a very single minded way of going through life: eat, sleep, have fun & earn lots of money with considerably less workload to make up for it. A kind of person that thinks he can get away with absolutely anything as long as he's careful; which he never does really & almost always ends up being saved by one of the many people around him.

To be frank, I almost stopped reading the book a few times. The way Randy goes about his life so recklessly & without a heed of thought made my teeth clench in frustration & in a few instances, angry. How can a guy his age act like that? Is he an idiot? Not to mention his self-centeredness that has been getting on my nerves right from the start!

Plot-wise, the story is quite repetitive. Him running away from one problem just to land himself in another; that kind of person that doesn’t seem to know what he's doing or even if it was the right one to do. His antics made the book seem monotonous, like those one-time reading kind of stories that you'll get tired of fast.

Moreover, the ending seems a bit forced. It’s as if the writer was told to conclude the story all of a sudden with the ending that was given: him going to a full circle, just like how Michael predicted it to be right off the bat.

As for the book, it was written quite interestingly & very well so that I didn’t find a single mishap as I digest each & every page. It was very simple & not the least bit showy so as to sound smart & end up making the readers feel like an inferior which some writers tend to do, a lot.

In summary, I would like to give Randy Love At Your Service a review of 2 out of 4 stars. The book was not bad if not a bit boring & I absolutely have nothing bad to say about the editing neither. It’s just that if I were to be truthful, this book would’ve been more enjoyable to read if it was written in a different feeling & not one that makes me want to sleep all throughout it.
