In the harsh era of the Wild West, under the scorching heat of Arizona, John Thurgood Thomas, known to his friends as JT, builds JT's World from the wealth he has stumbled upon in an old cave. He wants to create a destination for adults and families that promises to attract people from all over the West Coast. So he constructs a grand complex with a fabulous hotel, fancy restaurants, a tavern, a clinic, many shops, a bowling alley, a theater where his ward Madeline will perform regularly, and a Ferris wheel as the main attraction.

On the grand opening day of JT's world, a murder disturbs the event, leaving JT with a heavy heart and clouded mind. Therefore, Madeline suggests heading to Colorado with Buck, his ranch foreman, to pick up the cattle needed for his ranch and take a break to clear his mind, which he agrees to do. After the death of his beloved fiancée and Madeline's mother, Annabelle, JT thought he would never fall in love again. But after meeting the lovely doctor, Jessica Tillman, he can't help but be captured by her beauty, intelligence, and compassionate nature. At the same time, Jessica can't help but fall in love with JT; she hasn't met such an honorable and very generous man since her late husband, William Tillman. With the painful experiences and losses they suffered in the past, it is difficult for them to acknowledge their love for each other. And with the continuous plots of the cunning and shady attorney, Aamon Zamora, to get rid of JT so he can have the doctor for himself, things are getting even more complicated.

JT’s World by E. Alan Fleischauer is the fifth book in the Western series. It's full of action, thrillers, suspense, and a bit of romance. The author did an outstanding job describing the Wild West era in his book; I could see the old towns, the establishments, and the action in my head as if watching a movie. He kept me on the edge of my seat as JT and his new friend Chip Heller encountered one dangerous situation after another. It was an exciting experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this novel and was delighted to find I could read it as a stand-alone. I appreciated the author providing backgrounds for all the main characters, not just JT and Jessica. JT was my favorite character; I admired how smart, brave, compassionate, and very generous he was, forcing those around him to be the same willingly, like when the train conductor chose to give the Callahans his tips to help them. I was deeply touched by how amazed the conductor felt after experiencing being generous and compassionate for the first time. The story was fast-paced, and the author explained the related past events from the previous books to keep the readers in the loop, so I didn't feel confused while reading. Also, one of my favorite aspects is the fluency of the author's writing and how he made it so the readers could understand the thoughts, emotions, and motives behind all characters, not just the main ones, which made me appreciate and understand them well.

I understand from the Western movies I have previously watched how violent these times were, but I couldn't fathom the amount of killing in the book. I believe the author went a little bit overboard with the criminals and outlaws being everywhere JT and Chip Heller went. Also, the main plot was a bit delayed, but I wasn't bored as there was plenty of action and suspense until I reached it.

This novel deserves 5 out of 5 stars for all the positive aspects mentioned earlier and for being professionally edited. I didn't deduct any points for the negative aspects because I was expecting the presence of violence, as it was common in these times, and it didn't deter me from enjoying the novel.

I recommend this book to anyone who enjoys the action and thriller genres and Wild West tales. However, I believe it is unsuitable for young audiences due to the violence, profanity, and mildly mature content included.

It seems that the world made by JT is booming with the nice people he meets. Especially, Jessica Tillman. I wish their relationship to prosper, building a new foundation of love despite the horrible past relationship. I adore your review, Omneya, it looks perfect!
