Randy Love...at your service by Shay Carter is a fictional novel based in an English setting. It is about Randy Love, a young man torn between growing up and being an adult. being the last born in his family with two older siblings and a father who raised him for the better part of his life, he is used to having ample freedom and occasionally being bailed out of situations whenever he is in a tight fix by family and friends. He is quite the character. Smart, good-looking, fun, free-spirited and always knowing his rights so that he can't be played the fool, not forgetting highly manipulative since he is a very good salesman. He also has his flaws. mostly in the relationship department. He is quite the ladies man and has his standards whenever he is picking his next bird.

As the story continues, Randy goes through a series of different scenarios that eventually will bring forth his coming of age. He has a very special bond with Michael, a good and very close friend of John(his father) who sees a younger version of himself in Randy. He is always giving him advice so as to turn out different and not grow to become an old self-proclaimed bachelor like himself. Heather and James love are good siblings and are always there for their brother if need be. Socially, Randy has a good number of close friends most of which are from his childhood and he always makes sure to spend time with them whenever he gets the chance.

He is highly ambitious and loves being challenged. this will be seen in different scenarios from the book and as a reader, you will see him in a different light since at first, he might come off as lazy and not so driven. eventually, he will come and realize that his free-spirited nature, as much as it is convenient is not really the right way to live and the fact that he is always thinking about himself and no one else has to change if he wants to grow. Natasha will make him realize that he needs to stop his Casanova ways and just grow up.

I personally like how the author describes his scenarios. They are so vivid that even if you are not the type of person who has an imaginative mind, you will definitely imagine it and have a good laugh. The plots are very interesting and comical, be it an older woman trying to make a pass at him or fleeing from his current residence in the middle of the night so that he doesn't legally become a tenant of a permanent residence, a reader will enjoy it all. I like how the author portrays him with realistic normal troubles of any young man out there who is actually going through the same troubles to relate.

I rate the book 4 out 4 stars simply because it is a good read and anyone from their teens to an adult can enjoy this book because of it very relatable. also, the vivid scenarios will definitely make you laugh.
