Thank you for your review. I read the sample. The couple is to be commended for sending their daughter away from this terrible country that does not protect their citizens with albinism. Thank you to the author for bringing this problem to the public by writing this story.

I am really interested in reading this book because I'm aware of albinism and its ramifications for those with the condition, so I was curious as to how well written the book truly was. Thanks to the reviewer, I now know that it's realistic in its portrayal of the condition, the dangers posed towards those with albinism and their families, as well as the social mores attached to it.

The book sounds really interesting, heartwarming, and informative revealing the lesser known facts about the world and its inhumane behavior towards people who are different in any aspect. Congratulations on becoming BOTD!

I wasn't aware that albinos are treated differently in other countries. The idea of them possessing magical abilities is truly absurd, and harvesting their organs for these so-called abilities is more than ridiculous. I'm curious about what will happen to Annika with the white couple.

This sounds like a book I would definitely appreciate. This book educate us about the cruelty some people face around the world because of some superstitious beliefs on certain ethnicity or tribe. I would definitely read the book. Thanks for the free copy.

Discrimination of any kind is reprehensible, especially when a child faces it. I am glad Alex was able to escape the witch doctors of her homeland. I hope she reunites with her parents.

"Zeru Zeru Girl" by Barbara Kerr is a true eye-opener. I have always understood racism and other types of discrimination, but I never knew Albanism was one of them. This book is definitely an exciting read. Congratulations on the book of the day.

From the title of the book I’m already curious of what the book plot is all about. Annika must have gone through a lot following her predicament as a kid. I would really love to read all about her. Great review.

This review covers the sample well enough to leave room for suspense. It was a betrayal for lily to realize the plan to go as her baby's nurse with the visiting couple was a lie. I'll read this to follow on Alex's journey as she finds out who she is.

I've heard that albinos are endangered in some parts of the world. I guess Annika's story will be quite insightful on that.
