Superhighway by Alex Fayman, is a super book which held my attention intently. Even when the responsibilities of the world pulled my attention away from reading the book, I was reliving the book in my mind's eye. I was playing my version of the book’s descriptive locations, characters, events, and plot points as a movie in my head.

For me, the litmus test of a great book is that I can watch the movie of the book in technicolor and surround sound. Alex Fayman passed the test with flying colors!

I absolutely loved Superhighway so much so, I cannot wait to read the sequel. Talk about an amazing cliffhanger at the end of the book? You will have to read it to find out! The fact that the author and the protagonist share the same first name and the first letter of their last names, belies the intrigue that will mark this series of books.

I give this book 4 out of 4 stars.! It was a very well developed story, methodical and detailed. The book was
extremely well edited and the language was complex, which I loved.

The author researched his locations and the behavior of the natives with a purpose. I live in Miami, and his descriptions of the current culture and locations were spot on. I felt as though I was walking with and experiencing everything the character was seeing, feeling and tasting.

Fayman's, Alex Fine, is a young man just becoming an adult. He has had an unfortunate life, caught in the yo-yo world of adoption, in and out of the foster care system. He was returned several times like a video game system being traded when the owners became bored.

Alex was always loved by his foster mother, who knew as any mother does that her boy was extremely intelligent very special.

One day Alex came into contact with a detached computer cable and was sucked into the computer's internet information highway. He learns about the ugly seedy underbelly of the world of the drug lords and political thugs.

Alex is disgusted and upset at what he discovers about the robberies and other hateful incidences during his adventures inside the net. Alex decides to right the wrongs that have been committed against the innocent and underprivileged. He becomes the internet version of Robin Hood. He accesses the secure swiss bank accounts of these thieves and distributes the money to the poor.

The book is fast paced and exciting. Alex gets himself into sticky situations and it's harrowing to see how he would extricate himself.

If technology scares you, this is probably not the book for you. The author uses up-to-date technological words and descriptions of real life networks systems.

I would not recommend Superhighway to kids under 16 years old or those who faith would be a restriction, as there are instances of drugs and alcohol use as well as sex. As for me I don't know why the author introduced these vices into the book. They add nothing to the book's plot, which can survive without it.

I am definitely a fan of Alex Fayman and will be following his book adventures for years to come.

With power and ability come responsibility. It's always ideal to go for what's right and proper, although time is a witness to how challenging that could also tend to be. Thank you for your interesting review.
