Killing Abel, written by Michael Tieman is a captivating story about the death of Abel and the events that lead to that situation. The book starts with Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. Eve was then tempted by the serpent, which led to their banishment from the Garden of Eden. This book tells us how Adam and Eve managed to survive outside the haven that was once their home. The story tells us how Adam and Eve toiled the earth and eventually found a place to settle down. In this place, they built a home and had wonderful children. Two of those children were named Cain and Abel. Cain happened to be the kind brother who always listened to his parents and was very obedient, while his brother Cain was the opposite. This caused strains in the family and finally led to the death of Abel. This book takes us into the lives of the characters and helps us understand the reasons for their actions. The story talks about the events that led up to the death of Abel and the events that occurred after his death.

What I loved most about the book was the author's ability to use his creative mind to fill in certain gaps that were left out in the original story. One such instance was the circumstances of Cain's birth. After their banishment from the Garden of Eden, Eve found it hard to give birth to any male children. Until they received instructions from God on how to ensure that they bear a son the next time they tried for a child. The author used stories from the Bible to create such a wonderful story. I loved how the author delved into the minds of the characters and helped us understand them better. This made me able to connect with the characters and try to understand their actions. I loved the author's ability to capture the scenery of the Garden of Eden. It seemed like a magical place.

I loved the creative mind of the author and how he pieced together each story from the Bible perfectly. We were able to understand the reason for Cain's actions, and we were able to see how his story continued. Some readers may find it tedious to read some stories in the Bible. This story was very fun to read, and I learned some valuable lessons from it. It made me realize that jealousy can have harmful effects. Cain was envious of his brother, and that led to the death of his brother.

I disliked nothing about this book. I found it very interesting. Therefore, I will rate this book 4 out of 4 stars. I found no grammatical errors while reading this book. The author made this book stand out from other Bible stories by giving us an insight into each character's mind.

I will recommend this book to individuals who enjoy reading Bible stories. I will also recommend this book to individuals who are interested in themes like betrayal, war, history, fiction, and action.
