If you only had 10, 20, or 30 days left to live, would you spend the time on living your happiest moments and doing everything you ever wanted to do, or getting revenge on the people who wronged you in your life?

Final Act is about the VT2, a watch that can track the wearer’s blood and analyze it to alert them if they have 10, 20, or 30 days left to live. The “Final Notice,” the alert, is taken differently by people. Some use the time to go on luxury trips and have fun, but in this story the majority of people use it to get revenge. These people, the “Final Recipients,” cause a stir by shooting and killing people. And since the elections are coming, there is more of a concern for the candidates and Senators who get shot.

The FBI and VitalTech, the watch company, must work together to look inside the systems and see which murders are connected to prevent these crimes. Some of the characters are faced with hard decisions.

Personally, I thought this story was very entertaining and fun to read. I like the fact that the author introduced me to the names of the characters before the story began. There was also a small explanation to the background of the story, which I definitely thought made it easier to understand. I would highly recommend this to people who like reading sci-fi and suspense.

There is some profane language in the book, as well as some sexual content. This is based on the past of some of the people who get revenge because of the Final Notice alert. There is no religious content. I feel that the story would be good for teens and older because of this.

In conclusion, this was a story where I could sometimes feel really connected to the characters and that the story could easily connect to reality. The third person type of view made it easy to understand. There were just a few errors with the text, but not with the format or grammar.
Because of these errors, I will rate this book 3 out of 4 stars.
