What will you do if you are given the opportunity to know when will you possibly leave this life? Will you be able to handle it and accept your fate? Or will you accept it but also change others' fate? The Final Act is a sequel of a well-known novel The Final Notice that was written by Van Fleisher which tells us the story that focuses in real life political issues, crime and action.

As a continuation of the previous novel, the Final Act gave us an overview of what happened in the Final Notice . The story started with the invention of a wrist watch that can assess the patient's different vital signs that can eventually lead in wearer's predicted date and time of death. It became a remarkable scientific breakthrough and also a boost of career to Vijay Patel but little did he know that all of these will lead to a catastrophic nightmare not just for the inventor but also for the whole society. Who would have thought that this watch will complicate the current flow of the society and the human perspective?

I like the concept of this novel because it does not only tackle about political issues but it also focuses on the common day-to-day situations of each and every one of us. This story made me think about our advancements in these current times and if inventing such thing would be possible for now. I just became a bit disappointed when it comes to some concepts inside the story. Some parts have race or nationality concerns and some also have sexuality topics that I think would not be so suited for all kinds of readers.

I rate this book a 4 out of 4 because the plot of the story is uniquely written and the author did a great job to justify the characters. I would also like to commend the author because although I did not yet read the first book, there was nothing missing and not a thing that can hinder me from enjoying the second book. This is professionally written and there is non-borderline profanity and sexual contents so I recommend that only 18 years old and above that loves the specific genre should read this piece and surely, you will enjoy reading it.
