Excellently written and endlessly entertaining, Shay Carter's Randy Love...at your Service is a risqué, humorous, and utterly raw tale of Randy Love's journey into respectable adulthood. Protagonist and business student Randy Love is mischievous, hilarious, raunchy, and remarkably real. The story, which takes place in England, closely follows Randy's wild journey into the professional world, while the reader gets to witness all of his crazy, exciting, and downright hilarious antics along the way.

As Randy Love begins his trek into society and the wonderful world of business, romance, and adult life, it seems like the whole world is going out of its way to make things impossible for him. Everything that he had expected to be easy was, in fact, not easy at all, and nothing could have prepared him for the way things work in the real world. Randy, like many other young men his age, desires a simple existence filled with money, women, alcohol, fun, and lots of food. However, in this story, Randy will have to learn that the real world is not as simple as he wants it to be, and life itself is much more complicated than he could ever have imagined.

I noticed very few, if any, errors in the text, and I was pleased at the quality of editing this book had undergone. The characters are well developed, with complex personalities and distinct characteristics, planned out all the way down to the size of their big toe. Each scene is filled with intricate details, making it easy for the reader to visualize exactly what is going on in the story at any given time. This book was very interesting to read, as I felt very involved in the story throughout the entire time I was reading it. This story and its dynamic characters reels you in immediately and doesn't let you go until you've read the very last word.

This book exceeded the expectations I had for it. It satisfied my cravings for a book that was a light read, yet still entertaining and fun to read through. It was definitely unlike anything else I've ever read before, with a protagonist whose personality is unlike any I'd ever seen. Randy Love's story is truly unique. This book, to me, was almost like a breath of fresh air; it was a nice refreshing break from the wave of dystopian, Sci-fi, and fantasy novels that have been filling up the shelves these days.

I really enjoyed this book. I give this book 3 out of 4 stars. Shay Carter mixed great characters with detailed writing, sprinkled in a little vulgar humor and snappy one liners, and topped it all off with a protagonist that's about as real as it gets to create a recipe for a great story that can almost be considered a "coming of age." If you want a casual, stress free, maybe even a little comedic read, then I suggest checking out Randy Love...at your Service. And, trust me, you will love Randy Love!

I didn't enjoy this book as much as you did but you did a wonderful job on the review. I loved your enthusiasm and I'm glad that you liked this book.

This was actually one of my favourite parts of the book, to be honest. Just when you'd think Randy could slack his way through a situation, something would come up that would have him needing to rethink how he was doing things. It made for some quality comedy and I appreciated that a lot.
