Bluewater Walkabout is an adventure packed book by Tina Dreffin. It is about the personal travel escapades of the author with her family. They choose to travel around the world and this is what they have dreamed of doing for the rest of their lives. This book will show the fulfillment, challenges and happiness of being able to travel to different parts of the world through the family-owned sailboat.

Tina Dreffin has effectively shared their experiences in living on the water while they go on their journeys. She has exceptionally described her memories of their journeys to the exotic places up to the most scenic places one can ever go to. The author filled her book with emotion-filled flashbacks which will truly take your emotions get carried away as well. From how she described their adventures, you can almost feel their emotions and imagine how life is living in an unending escapade.

Bluewater Walkabout is exciting, interesting and informative. It somehow teaches its readers how taking a journey should be like. The author also used very rich vocabulary which made the book very engaging to read. It is filled with joy and excitement to read making it hard to put down. Tina Dreffin is simply a very effective writer that she effectively attracts your emotions to what she is trying to convey.

What I like in this book is that it has quotes that can teach you so much more about life and adventures. The quotes are also inspiring and will just make you love how the book was written. Her rich language will surely make the readers invest their time in reading the entire book. However, I did not like the idea of putting in mature elements like depression, sexual assault and the likes since it puts a halt to the excitement that the readers feel about their adventures.

This book is perfect for people who love adventure stories. If you are a fan of the story “Around the World in 80 Days” and Huckleberry Finn, then this book is for you. Adventures, excitement, information and fun-filled collection of memories are the main offerings of this book. However, people who love reading flowery and very dramatic stories will not enjoy this book.

Technically, this book is well edited. In fact, readers will learn a lot of vocabularies because of the wordy style of the author. All in all, Bluewater Walkabout is a great and enjoyable book to read. I am giving it 4 out of 4 stars and will surely be one of my favorites.
